We are proud to launch our new live project: “Aşık – Minstrelende Zielsverhalen”, a theatrical performance that revives the age-old tradition of Anatolian troubadours, known as âşıks. These troubadours shared stories about love, loss, and life through music.
MAKAS has brought together personal stories from individuals of various backgrounds across the Netherlands into an intimate theatre performance. In a time when polarization seems to be increasing, we consciously choose vulnerability and connection.
The premiere will take place on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, at 20:00 at the Verkadefabriek in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. (verkadefabriek.nl)
